Founded in 2020 by crochet artist Chason Yeboah-Brown, Knot Naked Apparel is a Toronto based eco friendly handmade crochet fashion brand that meets at the crossroads of fashion, craft and sustainability.

All garments are designed and handmade by the artist, some of which are heavily inspired by her original fine art pieces which explore themes such as veneration of the human form, spiritual protection, and diasporic celebration.

About the artist:

Chason Adjoa Yeboah-Brown (she/her) is a Ghanaian-Trinidadian, Toronto based self-taught textile sculptor, full circle doula, community worker and workshop facilitator exploring the oscillation of ancestral  ritual through  woven and crocheted structures.

Chason learned to crochet later in her teen years as a form of self-regulation. 12 years later and crochet still heals her. In creating for others she heals herself.
